flying out to southern california for a few days, jenna and robbie were hoping to escape the mid-winter weather of DC… at least for just a few days. but, when we met up at hermosa cyclery that afternoon, i think they were both pleasantly surprised by the 80 degree january day mother nature had blessed us with.
should we get separate bikes? or go for the tandem? robbie asked almost rhetorically. i quickly offered my opinion, which only affirmed robbie’s intuition, mounted my cruiser camera in hand, and rode off to find some good light and an even better time.
since jenna and robbie live on the right-coast, this was my first time actually getting to connect face-to-face, which is my favorite part about being a wedding photographer… simply getting to know our couple’s stories.
